Muse #21

Here is the Monday Muse by Therese Calvird.

As you can see, I'm cutting the deadline close but it took me a while to be inspired.  I actually had an idea but busy life interfered until this morning when I decided to go ahead with my initial thought.  In this card I saw 1.  round circles, 2. a pale green background and 3. a rustic sentiment banner.

I originally wanted to do a pomegranate so I could carry the color of the muse through to my card but I didn't have any images like that.  The next best thing I had was this grapefruit on the Preserves cartridge.  But then what sentiment do I use?  I don't make cards that I won't send, so I thought if I make make it a pink grapefruit I can use the sentiment I printed on the computer.  I inked everything with Tea Dye Distress Ink and popped up the banner.  If you look closely, you can see the optical illusion looking print in the background.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Such a fun take on the Muse. I don't think I've seen a grapefruit card before--very original. What do you mean that you don't stamp? How do you make all these fab cards?
