CFS 113, Fusion 16 and STB

I have to be out of the house before nine to make rolls for a big dinner at the church on Friday.  It's a class(es) reunion for the high school from 1930 something through 1952.  We expect around 200 people which is all our fellowship hall will hold.  People keep asking when they will add other years and there was talk about having a second dinner for other classes but it was voted down. As long as the earlier classes keep coming, I guess it will stay at 1952.

I have two cards today for three challenges.  The first one is for CASual Fridays and Seize the Birthday which is an "anything goes" challenge.

I pulled out all my "happy" stamps and covered the kraft cardstock with them using Fresh Snow by PTI. The "birthday" is cut from a PTI die three times and glued together to get some dimension.  I wasn't going to try to put foam tape on those itty bitty pieces.  I may be crazy but not THAT crazy.

Speaking of crazy, I have a story to tell on myself about the Fresh Snow ink.  It was one of the things I ordered with my gift certificate and when it came, it was brown.  Or at least it looked brown through the transparent cover.  I thought maybe a mistake had been made and I was afraid to break the seal, just in case.  I sent a quick email off to PaperTrey Ink to check it out.  The response came back and was I embarrassed.  The lid is tinted brown but the ink is white.  And it stamps beautifully on dark paper. (*_*)

My second card is for the Fusion challenge.

I didn't do any fusing on this one.  And I flipped the sketch.

I needed a second anniversary card and I really didn't want to do it in pink and green.  The silhouette is cut from A Child's Year and the printed papers are all from a 6 x 6 pack from WeR Memory Keepers.  The sentiment is from my new Clearly Besotted set called "Happy Days".  Can you find the "happy" part of the stamp on the first card?  It's there.

I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving comments.  I hope your day is filled with sunshine and laughter.

First of all, wow, you must have some "kids" who are really living long if they're going to the reunion from a graduating class in the 30's! AND, I DID THE SAME THING when I ordered the fresh snow ink from Papertrey. I didn't want to open it since I assumed they sent me the brown instead of white ink. They must get that all the time.

Great cards for both of the challenges, Bobby! The ink is so white on your kraft, and I'm in love with the color combo on your second card. Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays challenge AND the Fusion Challenge!
