When I saw the recipe at Less is More this week, use metal, my original thought was something masculine. Somewhere along the line I made a big U turn.
My daughter had given me these heart shaped paper clips and that was the beginning of my card. Using a Heidi Swapp stencil, I used tinted embossing paste for the hearts. When I decided to emboss the HA sentiment in silver, I used my silver marker to color the white heart. A couple of flags sewn on with threads hanging and my card is done.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy creating.
I like this and even have the stencil. Love the look for an anniversary card. Light and airy.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely took a turn away from masculine, and good for you. This card is so pretty, and definitely all girl.
ReplyDeleteI love the light and soft feel of your card. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBobby, seriously, your tinted paste hearts are awesome! What a perfect anniversary card. You could easily turn it into a wedding card too, it's got that light happy feel to it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty, ethereal card, so feminine.
ReplyDeleteSorry to be so late visiting, thanks for joining in this week at LIM for the metal challenge.
