Remember when we were kids and were begging our Mom to do something? Our plea was "But everyone else is doing it." And her response would be "If everyone jumped off the bridge, would you?" I'm kind of in that position. Everyone I know is making a shaker card for this challenge. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration just like "everyone is doing it". But a lot of those I follow have made some wonderful shakers and so I jumped off the bridge.
I learned a few things along the way, in case I ever make another one (not likely) but it didn't turn out too badly. I'm not a sequin girl so I only had one little pack that I picked out the green and gold from to represent leaves. I watercolored the owl stamp from Paper Smooches and mounted it behind some wood grained paper from We R Memorykeepers. The sentiment is from the same set.
Now that I've pulled myself out of the water, I'm going to make a card more in my comfort zone. Thanks for stopping by.
