I had a lot of fun working on this card for Showcase Your Style. It's pretty much a literal translation of the colorful inspiration photo which is what made it fun. First the inspiration:
What do you think? Quite a picture isn't it. After smooshing, stenciling and sponging I was happy with my creation.
I didn't want to block the color so I cut a vellum circle and stamped a sentiment from Dare 2 B Artsy in black, then used Score tape to hold the watercolor paper to a black card. It wouldn't stay down any other way. ;)
Thanks for stopping by. I do wish you brighter days, whether it's sunshine or peace of mind.

Very cool background!

Gorgeous Bobby!! Love this technique with these colours. And the vellum sentiment really keeps with the transparent look of the other dots - fabulous design! Loll xx
ReplyDeleteWow ... simply splendid, Bobby ... all those bubbles of colour on the smooshed background are just gorgeous! Happy Saturday to you, my friend! Anita :)
