CAS(E) THis Sketch #257

It's another retro sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch and I'll show you my card for #156 but first the sketch and the updated version.

I knew I wanted to keep this light so I used my Clarity brush and some Tumbled Glass DI as the background for my PB flowers.  They're stamped three times and colored with Shaded Lilac DI.  The flowers needed centers so I pulled out my long forgotten Liquid Pearls. The SSS sentiment is popped up on foam after giving it a brush of ink too.

This is the card I made two years ago when the sketch first aired.
Coincidentally the flowers are from the same stamp set.  I was trying my hand at no-line watercoloring.  Needless to say I don't think I've done it since.

I'm glad you dropped by today and I hope you come back again.  I love it when you leave comments, too.

I like your wispy flowers Bobby, this is sweet! Your first version was adorable too!

I like your new card much better! No line water coloring is hard.... I have not done it very often either....(there is a good reason for that). As for your galaxy card planet question - I just drew them in with water colors and a bit of white paint.

Your original was sweet and pretty, Bobby ... and the new version is an absolute joy! You've captured the soft, delicate nature of this drift of wild flowers so beautifully with the light colour and touch of sponging! Love it! Hugs, Anita :)

Hello, lovely friend! My return from my working visit at my mom's was apparently more 'depleting' than I realized, as I've been 200% sidelined by a nasty bout of flu/stomach flu, that started Monday morning and continues to persist Zero energy, wobbly, nauseated, pretty much bed-ridden...yep, I'm a MESS! I thought flu symptoms were supposed to be sniffles/cough (which I don't have), so this upset stomach stuff has me stressed. Big stressed. Anyway: just know that I adore alllll your cards of late (your wispy flowers are sooooo pretty); they've brightened my 'grey' days immensely!

A very belated question [I just saw this post while ambling through the flowery, fertile fields of the internet!] What is the name of this stamp set and what company is it by? I love both cards.
Thanks!

You have a no-reply on the email so I hope this comes to you or you check back. The name of the Penny Black set is Enamor.
