Merry Monday #277

Finally a card for Merry Monday.  I played around with a number of ideas and none of them was worth the effort of finishing.  In desperation I leafed through my UFO drawer and found a "Brusho through a stencil" panel that I did a long time ago.  The colors worked well for a Christmas card.
The PTI sentiment was cut from glitter paper and inlaid into the panel. I'm not crazy about what looks like a tomato in the center of the O but trying a piece of plain white looked even worse, so it is what it is.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you have a great weekend.

This is fancy and artsy Bobby! The red 'joy' isn't bad at all. Try cutting a piece of vellum to lay over it. That might soften it to a color you like!

I think your artsy explosion of colour is simply sensational! Tomato in the center of your 'o'? Not noteworthy from where I'm sitting...everything 'works'!

I think your card turned out fantastic Bobby, and it doesn't look like a tomato in the center of the "O" to me at all! Love all the color and the solid and sparkly JOY just really pops! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Merry Monday!! :0)

That “ tomato” you are talking about, doesn’t disturb your card at all. I didn’t even noticed it.
I think it has become a wonderfull christmas cards.

I think your artistic background looks great as a Christmas card and the Joy looks great with it. I don't think the red dot in the center of the O looks like a "tomato" either. It just makes it stand out more. Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday.

Your card caught my eye right away in the Merry Monday gallery - I love the explosion of Christmas colours! The glittery sentiment is so perfect - and I definitely don't see a tomato

That is a perfect background for a Christmas card, Bobby ... the colours blend from green to red so beautifully ... and the shimmery Joy is scrumptious! I saw a Christmas light in the middle of the 'o', no tomato on the menu!! Hugs, Anita :)
