CAS Watercolor - September

I had my card all made for the CAS Watercolor challenge and then - head slap - I didn't watercolor the violet.  That's what I like about some of the Altenew stamps.  You have the option of watercoloring with the outline stamps.  I went with the same design and just substituted the flower.
I used Wilted Violet Distress Ink to color it and to stamp the Altenew sentiment.  I saw Amber Rain Davis use small strips to accent her CAS designs here and loved the look so I implemented her idea on my card.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do.

Oh wow, LOVE that beautiful pop of purple against the white. And that yellow is perfect for the clean and simple look. Using small strips is perfect.

Beautiful! And those extra strips really do add a lot! Plus the color really makes the flower center show more too

Your watercoloured violet is GORGEOUS, Bobby!! It really pops against the yellow strips (great design feature, especially with the spaces between). This is one of those "WOW" cards. Complementary colours are amazing. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
