The Flower Challenge #69

With all the conflict still going on in Ukraine, The Flower Challenge is paying homage to their brave citizens by choosing their flag colors for our challenge this month.

For my card I used an embossing folder from SSS called Floral Field.

I put Prize Ribbon Distress ink on the folder before running it through my Big Shot, then colored the centers with Mustard Seed.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee, layered up and placed on a vellum shadow.

I did this one first and it came out lighter.

To this one I added a die cut sentiment from EbyE, with a sub sentiment from SSS.

Nancy Penir is our guest designer and she and the rest of the team have some wonderful blue and yellow cards for your inspiration.  Just remember that flowers must be your focal point.

Beautiful card Bobby and I love your technique! I always forget to use my embossing folders and I love how you inked yours up and added hints of yellow. Simply gorgeous!
