The Paper Players #787

For Leanne's sketch at The Paper Players I pulled out my new pastel Ohuhu markers.  I saw Gina K talking about their markers and I've always wanted some lighter colored ones so I took advantage of their sale.  They worked great coloring the image for my card.

It's an oldie from MFT called Pawty Time.  Before I colored I had to find some patterned paper so I could coordinate everything.  This polka dot from Simple Stories has been in my stash for 14 years and is one of the few packs I brought with me.  The gift was colored in the reverse and I added the sentiment from the same set.  It's not in the same place as the sketch but was the only way it would fit without covering the image.  This turned out so well that I will be coloring the rest of the images in the set for more birthday cards for the littles in our family.

ETA:  At the urging of several on The Paper Player team, I'm adding my card to Just Add Ink

Thanks for dropping by and spending a bit of your day with me.

  2. What a sweet image on your petty card Bobby. Your coloring is perfect. Love all the old MFT stamps/dies and I have quite a few of them. I even visited their store a couple of times. Sad that they went out of business.
