Just Us Girls #114 - Word Week

Sue is our host at Just Us Girls for Word Week and the word is

There are so many ways to go with this and it took a while for me to decide how to proceed.  I finally pulled out an old stamp set from Avery Elle that I'm not sure I've used, at least not these little lights.

I stamped the sentiment from C&9, stamped the bulbs and drew lines to connect them to a line drawn across the top.  Using a finger dauber I added Distress Ink to the bulbs.

Curtain Call - Falalalala

I'm guest designing over at Curtain Call this week.  Sheri contacted me after I won the At Home challenge with this card and of course I said "Yes!"  She sent me this lovely photo to work from.

I looked at all the little details but it was the light bulbs that inspired me.

I got a chance to use my new Clarity brushes to color the bulbs from SSS.  I gold embossed the tops and the sentiment from HLS.  I thought the embossing folder gave a hint of the boxes in the photo.
