CAS(E) This Sketch #256

What do you make of this sketch?
I think Chrissy is out to challenge us at CAS(E) This Sketch.  I mean REALLY challenge us.  I got an idea and it executed so I hope it fits.
I inked photo paper with DIs so the balloons would already be glossy, using a SSS die to cut them.  They are in the hands of the darling bear from EbyE.  I love how this turned out and may make more.  Wouldn't it be cute to use up some patterned paper for the balloons?

I'm also sending this to Little Red Wagon where the theme is 'Birthday Balloons.'

I'm glad you dropped by and hope your day is going well.

Addicted to Stamps and More #239

It's Clean and Simple week at Addicted to Stamps and More.  I pulled out a NBUS set to make my card.
I stamped the little bear from Essentials by Ellen on kraft and used the die to cut him out.  The die also cuts his arms so you can have him holding things like the gift that is cut from yellow and heat embossed in red.  The balloon is cut from a scrap of Brusho paper and covered with Glossy Accents. I also red heat embossed part of the sentiment from Avery Elle.  A few touches like black glaze on his eyes and nose and a string for him to hold the balloon finish the card.

Why not head over to Addicted to Stamps and More and see what the Design Team has for your viewing pleasure.  You may be inspired to make a card for the gallery.

Hero Arts Tic Tac Toe

My old high school principal  is celebrating his 90th birthday next week.  He's a great man and I wanted to send him a card so I made this one based on the Tic Tac Toe board at the Hero Arts challenge.

I went across the middle.

Using the Hero Arts Canvas background, I stamped VersaMark Dazzle on Smoke.  The SSS balloon and MFT Big Numbers are cut from foil cardstock with the numbers inlaid. I tied on a little hemp cord and stamped the HA sentiment in black.

Thanks for stopping by.  Your visits and comments are always appreciated.
