It's not often I have a card that fits two challenges let alone three but today's card is one of those.
I had a productive day making these roses from WPlus9. If you haven't seen this video that Dawn made on mass producing layered stamps you need to watch it. It has been a life saver for me. I made a ton of the flowers and leaves and then based my design on the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch. I also sat down one day with my Cricut and made a bunch of frames so they were ready when I needed them. This one I heat embossed with pearl although it looks cream in the photo. That's not the only thing that's off in the photo. The sentiment is silver embossed and we all know how our cameras don't like shiny things.
While in the middle of creating I saw the challenges from The Card Concept
and Inkspirational.
Pink roses all around. Plus some curvy lines and pearls. A match made in blogland.
Thanks for dropping by. I love it when you do.

Addicted to Stamps and More #275
Challenge #275 at Addicted to Stamps and More is a photo challenge. We're asking you to make a card inspired by this photo.
This is something different than I've ever done before and I enjoyed the creativity of it. We'd love to see you get creative and make a card for the challenge. How about it?
Less Is More #362
I know some people will be overjoyed that the color challenge at Less Is More is purple. A lot of petunias are purple so that is how I rolled.
Panel: Reverse Confetti borrowed from Michele
Stamp: WPlus9
Sentiment: My Pink Stamper (closed)
Inks: Altenew and PTI

Inspired By All the Little Things #77
I'm so glad that Inspired By All The Little Things will now be a two week challenge. That gave me more time to make a card inspired by their cute critter photo.
You may be surprised that I didn't make an owl card but I had this one made before Michele sent me some cute owls to play with.
This little cutie is from Concord and 9th and colored with Distress Ink. I'm not sure I've even used him before.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope your week is off to a great start.

Fusion - 4th Anniversary, Little Red Wagon #428 and Seize the Birthday
It's about the elements at the Fusion challenge and I did a true fusion this time.
Patterned paper for the wood, copper heat embossing on the letters and strip bring a masculine birthday card to life.
It's Boy Oh Boy at Little Red Wagon so this card is going to them and to Seize the Birthday where the theme is Anything Goes.

Muse #248
I love the look of coloring on dark cardstock so when I saw Anita's card for this week's Muse I had to make a card.
I'm not real happy with this and considered not posting in but then said "What the heck". I don't know if the photo is blurry or if it's all those splatters I added. They were an afterthought when I saw a water spot on the card and needed to cover it up. I tried throwing paint from an acrylic block and I think I got carried away. Or the paint did. I did the red the way I usually do - tapping my paint brush and got better results. The anemone stamps are from WPlus9 colored with Inktense pencils and the sentiment is from PTI.
Here's the inspiration.
I'm glad you dropped by. Have a great weekend.

Just Us Girls #423 - Trend Week
Sue is our host this week at Just Us Girls and she has picked a great challenge for us for Trend Week.
There are so many ways to do galaxy and night skies and I'm sure you'll find one that will work for you.
I used Distress Oxides for mine, starting with Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. I added a coat of Faded Jeans and topped it all with Black Soot. A toothbrush and watered down acrylic paint made the stars. The sentiment from MFT is heat embossed on vellum.
Last week I neglected to welcome the sweet and lovely Carol Mayne to our team. She makes such fabulous cards and you will be thrilled with her creations as well as the wonderful, supportive comments she leaves.
Cathymac is our guest designer this month and she has a wonderful card for you as do the rest of the Design Team. Check them out for inspiration and then start playing around with your inks to make a galaxy card. We'd love to see what you come up with. If you are a January winner, you are eligible to be our guest designer in March.

CASology #282
That's right. We're giving hugs today. Paper hugs at CASology.
I got out my seldom used hugs card die from Concord and 9th and stamped hearts on it. Have you seen this die? The card opens like this:

One Valentine for my family down. I'm in the process of making 14 valentine card kits for my church Circle to make on Wednesday for our homebound people. I usually make and send them myself but they wanted something to do. I have the layered panels cut. Now for sentiments and embellishments.
We had a warm up day yesterday to melt all the snow and then it came again last night. The temperature went from 52+ to a high of 20 today. I'm beginning to think Mother Nature is schizophrenic.
Thanks for dropping by.

Yippee! Hip Hip Hooray! Today's the day a new challenge arrives on the scene. This one is from the creative mind of the fabulous Darnell and is called the Twofer Card Challenge.
Doesn't that sound like fun and a great way to increase your stash of cards? Each challenge has a word prompt and a wonderful Design Team to inspire you. This month it is
I have a few feather stamps but I chose this one from Clearly Besotted.
This cheer/get well card has the feathers stamped and die cut.

Time Out Reminder
I'm here to remind you of the 100th challenge at Time Out where the word is:
I think grateful and thankful are synonymous and that is what I used for my card this week.
The anemones are from WPlus9 that I masked and loosely watercolored with Distress Inks. The sentiment is from CPD.
The Design Team has some wonderful inspiration for you over on the blog so be sure to check it out. There's still time so we hope you'll make a card and help us celebrate this challenge milestone.

CAS(E) This Sketch #253
CAS(E) This Sketch is doing one of their retro challenges this week. This sketch was also the challenge on January 27, 2015.
January 2018
MFT stamps, Distress Inks and a little screen stencil that I hoped might look like gauze are the ingredients.
January 1015
Even the photography/photo editing is better now. ;)
Thanks for dropping by today. I hope your week is going well.

Inspired By #1
I heard from Michele who heard from Leanne about a 'new' challenge called Inspired By. (Uh oh. Now that REO song is running through my head.) I had to check it out - the challenge not the song - and this is the photo inspiration.
I knew I wanted to heat emboss the CF snowflakes on kraft but then what? I went searching for a sentiment and thought this would be perfect. All I needed was the little snowman from Stampendous and some MFT snowflakes in glitter cs to finish it up.
Thanks for dropping by and sharing a little of your time with me. It does take the chill off. 😊

Inkspirational #151
Stamping only? That should be an easy task to complete for Inkspirational.
Wow! This looks a little washed out now that I see it on the big screen. Between my light box, point and shoot camera and iPiccy you'd think I'd have a better handle on what my photos look like. Where does the blame lie? Maybe with the user? ;) The flowers are from Altenew and sentiment from MSE.
I hibernated all weekend and have eleven cards to show for it. Some are for Design Teams and the others for some of my favorite challenges. There are still a couple of other challenges that I'd like to enter so more time in the craft room today while the laundry is going.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

CASology #281
What a great cue word for CASology to start out 2018.
I HAD to have this set and bought it in 2016 and this is the first I've used it. I don't usually let stamps linger that long and it wasn't that I forgot about it. I just didn't find the right time or right way to use it. If this isn't encouragement, I don't know what it. Thanks Teddy and SSS.
At Carol's urging I'm going to send this card to the STAMPlorations January CAS challenge with the optional twist of silver.
I'm glad you dropped by. Please take this sentiment to heart.
