I almost forgot about CASology this week and so I sat down and made this card for their 'bug' challenge in about 10 minutes.
Basing my design on the challenge at AAA Cards to use 1/3 of your card, I used my Funky Fossil stencil with Wild Honey Distress Ink. I added the sentiment and bee from RC, coloring him with Zigs and adding some SN Sparkle to his wings.
Thanks for letting me invade your feed again today so I could get this in before the deadline.

Twofer Challenge #3
It's time for another Twofer Challenge. This is when you make two cards for two different occasions using the same stamp. Sometimes it's really a challenge and sometime it just comes together. This time the theme is "Blossoms."
I started with the one on the right, stamping the blossoms in Smoke ink on Smoke paper and coloring with my PolyChromos pencils. I've been watching videos from Yana Smakula on coloring with them and she restamps the images after to get good details. The MISTI works perfectly for this. The sentiment from HA is stamped with VersaFine Gray and heat embossed on linen vellum.
This set has both solid and outline images so for the other card I stamped the solid images first in Altenew Pinkalicious and Rubellite and then the outline and centers in Jet Black. I place them on a diagonal coverplate from AliExpress with a sentiment from HA.
So there you have it - a sympathy and birthday card both using the Artful Flowers. If you haven't tried this challenge you really should. It stretches both your stamps and your creativity.
Thanks for dropping by.

CAS Watercolor - March
While making another card I ran across an image I thought would be perfect for the CAS Watercolor Challenge. I've never inked it up so it's about time.
The little garden is from one of the PTI Jar filler sets, watercolored with Distress Inks on a die cut panel from Frantic Stamper. The sentiment is from EbyE. This is rather simplistic but I was happy to finally stamp out those cute little flowers. Maybe I'll have time to do another card before the deadline.
Thanks for dropping by. I love it when you do.

Merry Monday #281
It's time for another Merry Monday challenge and there is a photo for inspiration.
I know a lot of crafters have numerous cups/mugs in their collection because they do coffee challenges. I'm not a coffee drinker so I have limited cup stamps most of which are tiny. I fell back on my trusty old PTI jar for my card.
The winter jar set has candy canes so I stamped them after masking the hot chocolate and colored them with Zigs. I added a tag from MCS and some DSP down the sides. I love that I'm getting all these Christmas cards done. I was so excited to see that last week this card was the winner of the challenge.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope your weekend is going well.

Addicted to CAS #132
Ellenor is our host at Addicted to CAS and she chose birds as her code word.
I love birds and toyed with which one I might put on my card. I hope it's okay to do just one because that's what I did, using my long neglected Crazy Birds from TH.
As usual it's the sentiment that proved more difficult but I thought his buggy eyes went perfectly with the sentiment from MFT. He's colored with Zigs and his eyes are cut separately, popped up and covered with Glossy Accents.
I know you have at least one bird stamp you can use to make a card for our challenge. The rest of the Design Team and I are waiting to see what you do. Happy Little Stampers is offering a $20 voucher to the store for the winner of this challenge. Just make sure your card is CAS.

Just Us Girls #432
Nancy is our host for the color challenge at Just Us Girls.
I was inspired by a shower curtain I saw online and switched it up a little to make my card.
I originally thought about placing the wildflowers in all three colors on a white card base but it just didn't do anything for me. I put it aside and as often happens I had an epiphany in the wee hours of the morning. I turned the two turquoise die cuts over and colored them with Walnut Stain DOX to go with the one I had already done and the two I did in Frayed Burlap. Then I used some Peacock Feathers with a Clarity Brush on that white panel. I love that you can stamp with DOX and used the walnut for my MCS sentiment. It looks crooked to me but it's all one piece, so if it's crooked it's not me. ;)
I hope you head off to see what the rest of the Design Team and our guest designer Stef Perry have made using these colors. If you make a card you may be chosen Chic of the Week and be eligible to be our guest in May.

AAA Cards #110
I need to make quite a few Easter cards and the design I came up with works well for the ombre' challenge at AAA Cards.
Using an MFT stencil I inked with three colors of yellow Distress Inks. The sentiment from Jillian Vance was stamped and die cut with a SSS stitched circle. I placed it flat on the card for easy mailing.
It's March Madness time and I'm not a big basketball fan but I will check in now and then between crafting to see how the teams are doing. Michigan State is playing in Detroit so my three sons and son-in-law will be going to the games played at Little Caesars arena. Go Spartans!

The Paper Players #384
I finally found a good combination of pinks for my layered flowers and I used them to make a card for The Paper Players.

CAS(E) This Sketch #262
This week's CAS(E) This Sketch was so easy it was hard.
It wasn't until I had a reason to make a card that it all came together. My granddaughter is the driver for her robotics team and they won their competition last weekend. Here's Kjerstin taking a bite out of her gold medal.
The background is a TH stencil and the sentiment is from HA, selectively inked in the Stryke Force colors.
I'm so glad you dropped by. Do come again.

Addicted to Stamps and More #283
It's the holiday challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. With Easter coming up I need a number of cards for the homebound and this will get me started.
I did a little acetate smooshing with Distress Inks for my background, cut the panel with a stitched rectangle, and layered it on some blue. The SSS die is cut from paper inked with Tumbled Glass and mounted on fun foam.
It will be fun to see what holiday the members of the Design Team picked to make a card for and we'd also like to see what holiday you choose. Will yours be in our gallery?

Inspired By All the Little Things #81
The first thing I thought of when I saw the photo for Inspired By All the Little Things was my favorite PTI stamp Meadow Greens which features some lovely Queen Anne's Lace. It took a while to come up with a design but a card finally came together.
I stamped the jar and then covered it with rubber cement so I could do a DOX smooshed background. When it was dry I stamped and heat embossed the flowers and added some color to the jar. I glued twine around the jar top and added a sentiment tag and bow.
Thanks so much for dropping by. I love it when you do.

The Card Concept #88, Less Is More #366, Fusion and Inspired By #10
Well this is a first. The card I made for Less Is More is also good for The Card Concept, Fusion and I hope Inspired By. . . One card. Four challenges. Yay!
I stamped EbyE Rustic Botanicals in various shades of Altenew green for Less Is More's monochrome challenge. I picked green because The Card Concept has an all green challenge and my card fits their clean and layered category. It's a little sketchier with Fusion and Inspired By. . but they both include a lot of green in their photo inspirations.
I'm finding that I need more masculine get well and sympathy cards and this is a little less feminine than what I generally do.
Thanks for taking time from your day to drop by my blog.

CASual Fridays #194
Who could resist making a rainbow card? Not I. This is for the CASual Fridays challenge.
I took the image from their Breath set and stamped it with Altenew inks from a center point. To the side I added a sentiment from the same set. QACAS in Darnellese.
Well the weekend is almost over and since my creativity came back I have seven more cards finished and ready to post. I'm off to check the deadlines so I don't miss any of the challenges. Thanks for dropping by.

CASology #290 and Time Out #104
I channeled my inner Kandinsky to make a card for CASology (Abstract) and Time Out (Bold).
Using the SSS Doodle background, I stamped on Bristol and colored with Zigs. A little black frame was added before popping the 'art' on foam and then the card base.
I always appreciate the sun on cold days like this. There's nothing on my agenda (as my husband asks every day) so I guess the day will be spent finishing up a couple of cards and maybe cutting some quilt strips. I hope you have something exciting planned.
