GD for MUSE #82

It just about blew my socks off when Ardyth emailed me and asked if I'd be the guest designer for MUSE for their fourth Monday challenge.  It didn't take the blink of an eye for me to send back my excited and positive response.  The timing was perfect and I set about making this card to inspire you.

I used a stencil from Color Box and embossing paste that I colored with several Distress Inks on SSS Smokey Shadow cardstock.  I masked off different sections of the sentiment to add the colored word on a circle of PTI Spring Moss.   The stamp is from a set I won at Just Us Girls from Dare 2B Artzy

I know there are some of you that are "afraid" of embossing paste but I'd love to see you try if you have some.  Come on, stretch yourself.  :D  You don't have to use it for this challenge, though, so don't let that scare you away.  I can't wait to see how you are inspired by my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Please leave a comment so I know you were here, and come back again.

Bobbi - your card is incredibly eye-catching and perfect for your GD spot! I've ordered some embossing paste, but it won't arrive before this challenge closes. I have other 'tricks' up my sleeve, as your card offers so many launching points for inspiration!

Congratulations on your MUSE GD spot, Bobby!! How exciting! I love your embossed card! As you know, I'm staying away from paste, not because I'm afraid of it, but because there are so many techniques I really want to try ahead of it. When I get around to it, it will be passe, but that won't bother me. And I'll have you for inspiration because, wow, you did a brilliant job of it!! If we weren't still away at the beach with the kids, I would have loved to play along! Hugs, Darnell
