It's One Layer card week at Less Is More and that's usually difficult for me. But . . . the sentiment is to be the focal point and that changes the game.
I used a ME stamp in VersaMark with some little bottles of embossing powder I got on clearance somewhere. I forgot I had them but they worked great for this challenge. I added some gold embossed confetti from SPD and it's done. As Darnell would say, QAECAS. (quick and easy, clean and simple).
Thanks for dropping by.

Wow, I never thought of using embossing powder to get an ombre effect - so creative and a great look! Fab card!
ReplyDeleteLove how you got the multi-colored effect! Awesome card.

ReplyDeleteSuch a super card! I find one layer cards quite difficult (almost impossible!) but you did a fabulous job! Your embossed sentiment looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if you saw this Lawn Fawn post, but I thought you might be interested: http://lawnfawn.blogspot.ca/2016/03/lawn-fawn-video-31616-pretty-quilted.html
Thanks, Kate. I loved the video. It gives me options for paper quilting besides the quilt die I have. I guess I could have thought of it myself because I have used this technique to make fabric quilts.
DeleteFabulous one layer card Bobby!
ReplyDeleteGreat stamping!
Thanks so much
