Your favorite holiday is the theme for this challenge at Time Out and that leaves it open to a wide variety of choices.
I love all holidays but decided to go with Christmas and a family tradition.
Stockings were always a big part of our Christmas morning, when I was a kid and when I had kids. They'd be filled with fruit, candy, nuts and little gift items that would fit . . or not. 😁 Mine is filled more for decoration than gift giving. The dies are from SB's Stocking Full of Joy, cut in patterned paper from Honey Bee and scraps of cardstock. The background folder is Holiday Greenery from SSS.
While I had all the dies out, I made a second card.
This one has the gingerbread man instead of a gnome and the background is SSS Hand-lettered Holiday clear heat embossed for a tone on tone look.
Angie Blom Digital Designs is the sponsor for this challenge and the winner will get a $20 store credit.
The Design Team and our guest Stef Perry have some wonderful holiday cards to inspire you. What's your favorite holiday? Tell us by making a card for the challenge. We'd love to see you in our gallery.

I love your pretty stuffed stockings Bobby … and such the cute little critters peeping out from the foliage! Hugs Kate!
ReplyDeleteThe stockings were the best part of our Christmas morning, too, Bobby! Both of your cards are just adorable - I'm favoring card two with the cute gingerbread dude! OH! I never once used my Letter to Santa this year! LOve this scripty background!
ReplyDelete=]
Oh my gosh, these are so stinkin' cute. They just make me smile, well done. And you are getting your Christmas cards done too......GENIUS!!!
ReplyDeleteYour stockings are so pretty and stuffed with lots of goodies. Really love the plaid one with the red cuff and patches. The gingerbread is so cute amongst the foliage. The gnome is cute in the first stocking and the embossed background is pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet stockings and the fun fillers! While stockings were a part of my childhood and continued to be present during our kids', my favorite tradition has to be singing Happy Birthday, Jesus -- first thing after everyone gathers!
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas stockings. YOurs are adorable and such fun. Nice to carry on those traditions.
ReplyDeleteBobby, those stocking are just as cute as they can be and I love the way you've filled them! Sweet cards!
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic stockings filled with joy, Bobby! Awesome cards! xx
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty stockings and I love how you've (or Santa) filled them! Great backgrounds too!
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas stockings, especially the one with the gingerbread figure. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteStockings are a main event at our house. I like these two with their different contents and papers. What fun to make paper ones and to get to fill them as we do the real ones. Great cards!
ReplyDeleteBoth the card are so beautiful, Jenny!! Love both of them. Hugsxx
ReplyDeleteStockings are my favorite part of Christmas with my family as well. And they were when I was a kid too. My guys are 26, but I will do stockings til I am no longer breathing. I just love both of your makes with this theme. I love reading the stories that go along with this challenge... yours included!
ReplyDeleteYour stockings are so cute, Bobby! I love the gnome Santa peeking out of the first one! Growing up, we had a beautiful mantle over the fireplace (probably the prettiest part of the house!) and we hung stockings too, mostly getting a small treat of candy. It's a fun tradition.
ReplyDeleteWow! I just love these wonderful stockings filled to the brim with fun Christmas goodies Bobby! I love Christmas stockings - they are such a special part of Christmas! Wonderful creations! :)
