Changing Spots

The challenge at CAS-ual Fridays is polka dots.  I decided I wanted to try out one of the stamps on the Tim Holtz Ultimate Grunge collection that I purchased a while ago.  I don't know why I bought it, but it intrigued me.  Even though most of my cards don't show it, I really like old, rusty, grungy things.

I started out experimenting.  At first I colored the dots with markers and stamped on white.  I liked the look but when I did the second stamping, I forgot to reink one of the colors.   I had this scrap of kraft cardstock and decided to stamp it in white.  Then I changed my mind again and stamped it with VersaMark and embossed it with white.  Now what?  Okay, stamp the sentiment from the new set I got the other day from TPC Studio but in what color?  Decided that the dark brown would look good.  Let's grunge it up a little more by tearing one corner and inking the edges with the same brown.  Looking pretty good but something's missing.  Wait!  What about some bling in the O?  Bling and grunge?   Maybe not, at least in this case.  Well why not emboss it, too, so that's what I did.  Not as fancy as some of the entries I've seen in this challenge but I'm having fun trying different things.  And that's the point, isn't it?
