CAS???

I like clean and simple (CAS) cards but I guess there has been some talk amongst bloggers about just what that means.  CASology printed up this guideline for their challenge.

I think I use this most of the time, although I'm not sure about number 4.  I guess it's all in your interpretation but I don't find it easy to recreate what a stamper has done, just as they would have trouble recreating my Cricut cut designs.  That means we just have to be open to the ideas themselves and use them as inspiration for our medium.

CASology uses a word prompt for their challenge each week.  This week it's

I wanted something different (of course) and one that had a sentiment on it I would use.

I used the card layer cut from the Preserves cartridge for my bunch of grapes.  It is cut from white cardstock with a purple mat over a white card base.  The sentiment is computer generated in a somewhat matching purple.  Can't get any cleaner and simpler than that.  Can you?

Love the use of a negative cut - I also love the drama of the high contrast between the purple and white! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!

I think your negative die cut with that deep purple background is so lovely. The sentiment is so fun. Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week.
