It's the second day in a row with two posts. I either running close to the challenge deadlines or making up for the week I was gone. *_* Maybe a little of both.
I was getting out some of my printed paper scraps for another challenge and a couple of them just felt like they belonged together and would work in the sketch at Freshly Made.
My card is a little simpler and more vibrant than a lot of the cards I've seen entered so far but I love this argyle paper and wanted it to be the focus. It looked rather plain at first until I added the lavendar layer under the white. I didn't add a sentiment for two reasons, 1) I didn't know what kind I wanted and 2) I don't have ink to match. I've tried matching ink on my computer and sometimes it works and sometimes it's way off. I decided without was better than the wrong color.
This probably doesn't' live up to some of the other things I've done for this challenge, or to what others have done, but it just fell into my lap and I figured it was telling me to" go for it". The more I do, the better I get.
