Simple Thanks

Sometimes "Thanks" just doesn't seem enough when someone does something for you.  Today, Thanks doesn't seem enough for this card either,  although it is for CASology, and they want their cards simple.

I have some Cuttlebug embossing folders (4 in a set) that have thankful sayings on them.  I ran one through on a piece of teal Core-dinations paper and then sanded it so the sentiment showed.  The opposite corners are chomped on both and the sentiment popped up.  Can't get any simpler than that.  I keep looking at it and thinking it needs something else but I've resisted the urge.  Sorry the photo is so bad,  I've tried several locations in the house, all with different lighting and nothing seemed to work.

This is perfectly CAS - I love the echo of the rounded corners on your focal image and the card base! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!

I have that ef and love the idea and look of sanding one word. Thanks for the tip on that! I like the CASness of your design very much!!

(Oy. You WERE a beached whale! I'm happy that you got to carry your twinks to full-term, but together that is some kind of huge baby. Rachel carried the boys to 8 months (I'm not good about how many weeks) so they were only 3 and 4 lbs. and while she stayed slim, her belly was ginormous. I seriously cannot imagine what you went through!)

This is SO sharp! I love the simplicity of it and you were right to leave it as is. I need to have another look at my little embossing folders.
