The sketch challenge in my last post was easy. This one, for Seize the Birthday - feminine, was difficult.
I didn't want to go too literal with the sketch and that's the difficult part. I ended up with this.
The paper on the bottom is a Core-dinations textured paper that I scored in quarters and then sanded the creases and edges. The necklace is cut from the Paisley cartridge. I stamped a flower on the largest bead and embossed it and the bow with silver powder. A strip of silver paper was used to divide the two papers and the PTI sentiment was stamped in Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I struggled with this for days but now that I see it on the screen, I'm rather fond of it.

Love that you used the necklace for the shape. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.
Love that you tried to not be literal with your interpretation ... and succeeded! Great idea to use a necklace for that element.
I love the way you used a necklace as a frame!! What a clever idea - and looks super!
