CS #157

Art Class was this morning.  Seven of us all painting the same picture, all of them different.  Some of  us will have to finish up next Tuesday.  We're not slow - just particular.  lol  It's an enjoyable time and  one thing my husband and I do together.

Here's the inspiration for today's card, done by Kathy Racoosin over at CASE Study.

I've already seen some fabulous things posted to the gallery and mine is rather simplistic but I'm showing it anyway.

I went with a striped paper to simulate the background, cut a flower with coordinating papers from Live Simply, added some vellum to stamp my sentiment on and put it all on a white card base.  How simple is that?!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you find joy in your day.

Oh!! So love this Bobby! What a happy card and one that surely will make anyone feel tons better!! Love the sentiment on the vellum; it doesn't break up those delicious stripes! Bev

The vellum strip for your sentiment is wonderful! I love the simplicity of the flower against the stripes. So pretty!

How fun that you and your husband take a painting class together!
