FM 101

I've been crafting up a storm this weekend and it feels so good. This is the first time in a long time that we have not been at the lake over Labor Day weekend and I guess I was taking my sorrows out in the craft room.   (Not a bad thing.)

Today's card is for Freshly Made.  It's a pretty basic sketch - one that can be used over and over.

After prayer time in church yesterday, I realized I needed some get well cards and that's the direction I took.

I hope the recipient doesn't think I had ink all over my hands when I did this.  lol  The "antiqued" paper from WeRMemory Keepers sort of called for it, so I inked everything with Pumice Stone Distress Ink, including the sentiment from PTI's Healing Touch Sentiments. The dark brown piece is a new paper I bought called Gauze Paper from DCWV.  Here's a close up.  It adds a little texture to my rather rustic card.

Thanks for dropping in.  I hope you have a wonderfully creative day.

Very cool, Bobby! Love that antiqued dp - I have it in my stash/hoard too. Glad you're back and enjoying being in your craft room. Bev

Great card! The texture is fabulous and I love the distressed look of the patterns on your paper pennants.

I'm glad you were able to get lots of crafting done! We were at the lake on Sunday and it was gorgeous. Yesterday, on the other hand, was a different story. We had a horrible storm!
