This is Anneka in her snow costume.
Here she is as the candy cane. My DIL took the full photo during rehearsal. I took the other one after the performan, with the flowers her parents gave her.
A close up of that beautiful face (with false eye lashes).
My youngest granddaughter, Kjerstin, played one of the boys in the party scene. She's on the right in the back.
If you've been following me you may have read about my venture into costume making. My DIL asked me to make skirts for the Spanish dancers. I got to see them in action. Here is a picture of a skirt laid out on my floor.
50 yards of black lace, serged with shiny red nylon thread and it showed up beautifully on stage.
This was taken during rehearsal and unfortunately the red doesn't show much but at least I have a picture.
One last picture. I just HAD to take this one. lol
This is what her shoes looked like after the performance. They were new on Wednesday, and this is the result of three performances. This is one expensive activity and she's been at it 10 years.
I hope you've enjoyed my little brag book. The ground is snow covered and the temperature is 28 degrees, I think I will be staying in and getting some more cards made today. See you tomorrow.

Oh Bobby!! How wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing photos of your beautiful granddaughters, and (wowzahs!!) the incredible skirts you've made. Three of my granddaughters danced the Nutcracker several years ago, so it was so nice to see your little sweeties all decked out. You must be so proud. Loved this post! Bev
I am indeed proud, Bev. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.
Bobby, I am in love with these pictures. Wow! Your granddaughters are amazingly talented. The pictures are beautiful and am I awe of the skirts you made. I'm smiling from ear to ear for you!
Thanks, Lynn. I didn't know whether to smile or cry while I was watching them. Maybe a little of both.
I loved these pictures of your granddaughters. You must be so proud--many years of hard work to get to where they are today.
Thanks for sharing these Bobby - you must be bursting with pride! The costumes you made are gorgeous too (I still have nightmares about the enchanted objects my husband & I created for a Beauty & the Beast production a few years ago - we killed my sewing machine on that one!).
How exciting for your granddaughter, Bobby! She is beautiful and obviously very talented. Looks like little sister is right behind her too! Thanks for sharing these wonderful shots!
AMAZING!! How exciting for your granddaughters - and for you! I'm so glad you shared these wonderful pictures!
