Hibernation has begun. Yesterday we stocked up on food for ourselves and my parents. We got some snow overnight but it started snowing again while we were in church and hasn't stopped. They are talking about a foot but I hope they are wrong. My biggest concern is whether or not the caregiver can get to my parents house and if not, can I. Meanwhile I have been in my craft room making cards.
I'm entering a new challenge today. And when I say new, I mean brand new. Color Me! creative challenge or Color Me! for short, or even shorter CMCC has challenge #1 this week.
I took their color (it says Island Indigo but I hope my teal is the same) and used the sketch from Friday Mashup.
The sentiment is from PTI's Inside Out Well Wishes. I love that set! The teal is embossed with a chain link ef and the chevron is from a new (to me) dsp from MME.
Thanks for stopping by. If you are in the path of the winter storm, keep safe and warm. If you live in a warmer climate, enjoy it.

I love that ef, the colors and that wonderful sentiment! Stay safe!
We were on the same wave length today, Bobby! Well done with this beautiful blue Hope card!! I'm also glad to hear that you are safe inside and warm and I hope someone was able to get over to your parents. I do feel truly blessed to be where I am right now!! Hugs, Darnell
Hope that the snow does not cause too much trouble for you all. I love the idea of being stuck in your craft room though... :) Lovely card you have created here!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at Colour Me...!, we sure hope to see you back again soon :)
This is definitely craft room weather! School is cancelled for tomorrow, and I'm planning on staying in my pjs all day. Love all the blues in your card! I think you just missed the Less is More Challenge to use blue.
What a lovely card and SUCH a lovely sentiment, too! Thanks for joining us this week at Colour Me...! :)
Hope you are managing to stay warm and dry. Love your card--so sweet.
Fun textures and patterns, Bobby! I sure do love that sentiment! Thanks for joining in the fun of our first challenge over at Colour Me...!, and for sharing with us at The Friday Mashup as well :)
Very cute card! The sentiment is lovely.I hope you stay safe and warm.
Thank you for joining us at the Friday Mashup!
Great card! Super embossing too! I've not seen that folder before!
We were in a deep freeze last week and had tons of snow. Lots of rain yesterday and today though - plus milder temperatures. I prefer this over the cold!
I got the Chain Link embossing folder from Amazon as part of a two folder set from We R Memory Keepers. The other one is a basket weave and I love it, too.
