Is it Friday already? Where did that week go? I'm glad I had a little time today to get some cards made.
Well how lucky is that (snicker snicker) that two challenges have the same theme. Addicted to CAS and CASology.
I noticed a lot of people went with the word luck, or four-leaf clovers, or a rabbit's foot. Not me.
A horseshoe hanging over your door in this manner is said to be good luck. I cut mine with my Cricut in 4 layers, then inked it up a bit for a metal look and gave it a couple of coats of UTEE.
The sentiment from My Craft Spot fit in just perfectly.
My next card is for a new challenge over on the Winnie & Walter blog called Playdate. Here is the inspiration photo.
Maybe I wasn't supposed to but I based my card on the background, not the actual photo, although my card base is pink.
I stamped the dots from Big Bang Confetti onto a tag in a variety of colors. Using The Big, the Bold and the Happy, I stamped "thinking of" on one tag and the big "You" on the dotted one. I tied the tags together with some green ribbon that happened to be tying up a cookie that I got at a luncheon last week. Perfect color. It's a good thing I saved it.
I'm glad you can't see my work desk right now. It's covered with NBUS stamp sets, bits and pieces of cards in the works, and my list of cards to be made in a hurry. Guess I'll be busy tonight since I'm off to watch my granddaughter dance tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope this is the beginning of a wonderful weekend for you.

Don't you worry about that desk...that just means your goodies are being but to good use. I love the polka dot background on your second card and your first...wow love the glossy look. Fabulous!
Your horseshoe is bold and fabulous - and perfectly CAS. Love how the confetti looks in those colours (that's NBUS on my desk right now) and I love the idea of the two-tag tag. Thanks for joining us at CASology this week, Bobby!
Wow, what a statement! Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week!
Awesome cards Bobby - I love them both. I had a hard time figuring out the Winnie & Walter Playdate challenge - I like your idea of using the background!
Two great cards, Bobby! Love that awesome horseshoe! Darn clever of you to make it like that. So shiny! Have a great weekend. Bev
Love your CASology card. Of course--why didn't I think of a horse shoe. Cool how the sentiment fits right in the center. Thanks for playing along at CASology this week.
