CTS #67 and OCC

I made this card some time ago for Jenny.  If you saw my blog a couple of months ago, you may remember her as my "daughter from another mother" who is suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  I have been sending her cards every couple of weeks.  I never posted this one so I could save for a challenge and it fits the sketch for CASE This Sketch this week.

-----------------------------------

I'm taking the online card class and made a couple of cards from yesterday's lessons on faux effects..

The balloon is an inlaid die cut with ghost stamping.

This card uses faux metal.  Not the best card but I did practice the technique.

---------------------

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm off to see the videos for the second day of class.

These are all awesome! I especially love the first card - the tear off messages are so cute! I hope Jenny is doing well and I'm sure the cards give her lots of much needed smiles. Thanks for playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch this week!

That's a sweet card for your "other" daughter! And both of the one layer cards are fantastic!

Wonderful cards. I will keep your 'daughter' in my thoughts. I'm sure she appreciates all the cards. Your homework is very beautiful today. You have done way more than me so far. I'd better hit the books tomorrow.
