Fusion #7 and Happy Birthday

Happy Monday, everyone!  Time to start a new week.

First up is my card for the Fusion challenge.

This time I actually fused.  An idea came to me right away but it took a while to tweek it.

I took brick and script patterned paper, stapled on a cowl of hemp, and heat embossed a sentiment from SSS, all on a card base of soft stone.  This is really my style of cardmaking although I am being pulled to do more stamping, something I said I would not do.  There are just too many gorgeous stamped cards (and enablers) out there to not stamp.  And once you start, there's no stopping.  *_*

I have to say Happy Birthday to my great grandson, Noah, who turns one today.  Here he is at his birthday party which we couldn't attend since he lives 6 hours away. Thank goodness for technology.  My daughter sent a video of him eating cake.   Isn't he just the cutest with that crop of red hair?  (I'm not prejudiced or anything lol)

I just went looking for the card I made him and I guess I forgot to take a picture of it.  Believe me it was cute with red, blue and yellow balloons.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by.

  4. Hi Bobby!! Seriously, this is such a perfect fusion of the photo and sketch! You've got the brick, script and texture from the photo, and then every single element from the sketch. Well done!! And thanks so much for including the adorable photo of your great grandson! Your red/blue/yellow card would have matched so well with his photo : ) Thanks so much for joining the Fusion Challenge!
