LIM, AAA and TO

Happy news this weekend.  My grandson asked his girlfriend to marry him and she said "yes".   We're so excited to have her as part of the family.  I think I'll send them this card as a congratulations.  It's for  Less is More where the recipe is "die cut".

.
I used my Bashful die from Penny Black to not only cut but to emboss.  The cut itself is double layered, colored with Distress Markers, and the blossom popped up on Kool Tak.

This next one is for AAA challenge - chalkboard.

I actually made this card a long time ago but never posted it because I missed the challenge deadline.

The sentiment from PTI's Wet Paint is stamped with their Fresh Snow ink.

My favorite is a card for Time Out.  Here is the inspiration photo.

I fell in love with the striped "rug" draped over the chair on the left.

I cut white cardstock with a Tipped Top and stamped it with misted Distress Inks using Background Basics: Super Stripes. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and stamped in the Picked Raspberry and trimmed to fit along the stripe of the same color. Another white Tipped Top on Plum Pudding cardstock finishes it off.

I keep saying I don't know what my "style" is and as you can see by the variety here, I do a little bit of everything from patterned paper layers, to CAS, to watercolor and back again.  And that isn't even all of the things I do.  As long as I'm having fun creating, I guess it doesn't really matter.  And I am having fun.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I hope you have a fun day creating, too.
