I got a chance to do a little crafting yesterday and made a card for the
Fusion Challenge.
I had several ideas running through my head but I knew I was going to actually do a fuse card. It's not at all what I original thought but I am in love with it. I'd better be. It took longer than most cards I make. ;)
I stamped the tulips from Penny Black on watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink so I could watercolor them. It was barely dark enough for me to see but if I went outside the lines, you'd never know. That's what took me so long. : D I used Distress Inks and a brush (not a water brush) to color in the flowers, shading them with a second coat, or maybe a darker ink. The sentiment is from SSS and the panel is popped up on Vintage Cream cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Well worth the time, Bobby. This is just stunning, and that sentiment is just perfect for the card too.
Had to blow this one up to check out the detailing. Gorgeous Bobby!
I enlarged your pic too ... great detailing with the watercolors! Love all the shading in just the right places. Your sentiment is also perfect for the lines on the sketch, especially with it stretching from top to bottom. Thanks for joining the Fusion Challenge : )
Those are the prettiest tulips I've ever seen! Lots of depth and shadow - just wonderful!
