JUGS #250

I was sitting in church Sunday and looking at the border on my skirt.  I know, I should have been paying attention to the sermon but my mind wandered and I got caught up in the colors and patterns of that border. Then an inspiration hit and I had an idea for the challenge at Just Us Girls.

I watercolored a stamp from Hero Arts with Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks.  I also used the same inks for the background by putting them on an acrylic block, spritzing and stamping on cardstock.  The PTI sentiment is white embossed on turquoise cardstock and trimmed label style.

Thanks for stopping by.  May inspiration strike you in an unexpected way.

Tsk, tsk, tsk....you're as bad as I am in church. I've been 'playing' with 2 year old Ella... But your 'wandering' has led to one beautiful card. My goodness! Gorgeous colors, and brilliant design. Love this! Bev
