This is the MUSE inspiration this week - a beautiful card by Marion Vagg.
I loved the colors with it's white line separation and since I don't have a chevron stamp, and didn't want to use my die, I wondered what else I could use to get that look. Want to see what I did?
I took my PTI Harlequin cover plate and turned it into a stencil. Using five different Distress Inks, I watercolored the individual sections. The vellum ferns are a die from Meadow Greens (PTI) and the sentiment is white embossed on Simply Chartreuse from a Hero Arts set. I'm real happy with the way this turned out.
I'm so glad you stopped by. Please leave a comment to let me know you were here and I'll come visit you.

Fantastic take on the muse card! The harlequins make a great zigzag pattern the way you painted them. I love it.
Wonderful soft, summery colours, Bobby ... inspired watercolouring through a die cut stencil ... love the delicate vellum ferns over the top! Anita :)
This is so pretty, Bobby - it's like the Muse, but completely different too - well done! So glad you joined us this week!
Beautiful colors! What a wonderful background!
Couldn't resist commenting on this card - love the way you inked the pattern. Great take on the Muse!
