Festive Friday #39

I can't believe it's September already.  Where did the summer go?

I'm finally learning to make a card when the inspiration hits and not try to force something.  I had an NBUS pine branch stamp and knew I could use it for the challenge at Festive Friday.

I also love the rustic sign which inspired me to make this:

I stamped the various segments of the branches in Forest Moss Distress Ink and then went over a few with some HA Unicorn White.  While it was still wet, I poured on some sparkle embossing powder to give it some 'snow'.  I didn't take a close up but the lighter branches you see in the photo are the ones I'm talking about.  I stamped my NBUS sentiment from PTI in Unicorn White and white embossed it, then used my finger to spread some of the ink to get the chalkboard look.  This was so easy to do I may make more to send out.

Thanks for stopping by. I always appreciate your visits and your comments.

This is a fabulous holiday card. I love the branches, and I'll bet they just sparkle like mad in person.
