Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes all you need is words. That's the premise for the challenge at Less Is More this week - Mostly Words. You're challenged to make the sentiment the focal point of your card.
I decided this chalkboard sentiment from My Craft Spot would be a great way to go. I embossed it with white and then colored the larger words with Distress Markers. I know that you can mask and ink and use your stamp-a-ma-jig and fiddle diddle around. I tried. I honestly did. And that panel is in the recycle bin. Just not my thing so I'm glad the coloring worked. The dp is from WeRMemoryKeepers.
Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments so I hope you leave one.

The colouring on the white embossed words is perfect with the background DP, Bobby ... just fabulous! Anita :)
I'm with you on the masking/inking thing. Colouring the embossed images is os much easier and works just as well! Love the soft watercolor in the background.
That background is gorgeous, sentiment is darling with the colored words!
