I'm keeping my fingers crossed. No snow so far here in the middle of the mitten. I know it's good for the deer hunters and putting people in the Christmas spirit but I hope it holds off for a little while longer.
Speaking of Christmas spirit, I've been playing along with Merry Monday the last few challenges to get my cards done. This week's challenge was a beautiful one.
I'm generally not a blue person. I know, shocker, Who doesn't like blue?! It's not that I don't like it, I just prefer other colors, but I gave in and made this.
I had this wonderful blue foil paper and embossed it in silver with stamps from SSS and Essemtials by Ellen. The chain die is from Poppystamps, cut in silver - the same silver used for the mat. Now that I look at it on the screen, it almost looks gold. Why is that? The camera? the computer? the operator? Probably the latter. I need to work on that. ;-)
Since I used all that blue and silver metallic, I'm also sending this over to Virginia's View.
Thanks for stopping by. I always appreciate your visit and comments.
