I'm sure glad I checked my challenge list because I was working on a special card and then saw the deadline is tomorrow noon. I quickly finished it up and here it is.
One of our church members, and the mother of a friend of mine, will be celebrating her 100th birthday at the end of December. I just had to make her this card using the sketch from Freshly Made. The numbers were cut with my Cricut, 3 layers of black and one of gold that I offset from the black. I used the same gold for the lace edge cut with a die from My Craft Spot. The background is embossed with Chain Link and the patterned paper is sparkly gold dots - from a SSS stamp kit. I'm also entering this into the Inkspirational challenge - Anything goes with gold. If you're not counting white, I did use the black. I love black and gold. Classy and elegant for an elegant lady.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your friend will adore this, Bobby... so pretty! You rocked the Cricut this time, my friend - glad she behaved so well for you ...

I would say someone celebrating that birthday should see "100" on the card - and it is so elegant with the black and gold! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Very classy for a very special birthday!
Gold is so fitting for a 100th birthday card and this card is beautiful! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Beautiful card, and wow--to have reached the age of 100--of course she deserves it announced in gold on her card.
How wonderful to be able to make a card for a 100-year-old and this is elegant and beautiful.
Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges. Come back next time! Marina
