Stamp from Penny Black, embossed in Ranger Fine White, Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry,
Seedless Preserves, and Dusty Concord, with a few sequins thrown on for good measure.
I had only planned to have the watercolor part but a few drops got where they weren't supposed to be so I splattered the whole thing. Don't you hate it when that happens?!
ETA: I meant to enter this at CASology, so thanks, Sarah, for the reminder. I will also enter this in the Uniko challenge that Sandie recommended. Their theme is love and friendship and it's a first time for me there.
Thanks for stopping by. May all your craft mistakes be design innovations.
Fab card design, love it !
ReplyDeleteLove the splatters and colours and sentiment, I love to splatter wayer colours!! Thanks for joining Ink and this would be great for our challenge at Uniko x
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great Bobby and certainly passes for Less is More in my eyes anyway. Thanks so much for sharing and taking part and as Sandie suggests you might also like to link up at Uniko Studio where the challenge theme is Love & Friendship. CASology also have a 'friends' themed challenge on too.

Oh the mistakes I've made.... this is certainly not a mistake, Bobby. I'd chalk it up to your creative Muse having a bit of design license... it's beautiful....

Great card. Mistakes are part of card making and that is what finishes the end product.
ReplyDeleteI love the watercolour and splatters - it may be unpredictable but it gives a great effect! Fab design :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a unique look! The splatter is awesome and I like how you used the white sentiment against the colored splatter. Thanks so much for playing with us at Inkspirational!
