LIM #212

The word at Less is More is wings.  Can you guess what wings I did?  Of course, you can.  OWLS!!!

This is one of the owls that Joyce of Cards-by-the-Sea sent me.  It's from Hero Arts and stamped in a green that matched PTI's Ripe Avocado, although it looks darker in the photo.  It also went well with the woodgrain green from WeR so I used that for the background.  The sentiment is from SSS.

My twofer uses this same owl stamped in red.

I cut all the layers with LF Stitched Rectangles, using Dark Chocolate for the middle panel.  After I took the picture, I did stamp the tiny "prayers" from SSS on two corners.  Both of these cards are already in the mail to a couple of friends going through some health issues.

Thanks for stopping by.  Your visits and comments are always appreciated.

A-DOR-A-BLE! My fascination with butterflies (oh, who are we obsession...) appears to be mirrored in yours for owls! Wonderful winged delights, guaranteed to lift your friends' spirits, just as they have mine!

Owls - I should have known :) Love these HA owls - particularly combined with the green woodgrain on the first card. Perfect for this week's LIM challenge!

These are fantastic, and I had totally forgotten about that owl stamp. Also, I had not yet seen the LIM challenge, so I will be sure to play along this week. Love how you made these owls the star of the show on both of your cards.

What a cool (and fabulous!) owl, Bobby ... he seems so calm and serene on the first ... and so wide awake on the second in the striking red! Amazing how his expression seems to change with the colours! Anita :)
