Freshly Made #176

Freshly Made has a long. skinny challenge this week.  I bought envelopes for 3 1/2 by 7 cards a long time ago but seldom make cards to fit them.  This was my chance.

I extended a die by My Craft Spot to make the lacy bottom on my white cardstock and put that over some dp that I've had for ever.  Because the card is 7" wide, I couldn't use my paper packs so I went looking through my 12 x 12s.  I have WAY too many and need to start using them up.  I don't have any belated cards in my stash so this sentiment from Clearly Besotted came to the rescue.  Then I thought the card looked a little bare so I cut the flourish from MFT in black and layered it over yellow to bring out the centers of the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Pretty card, Bobby; the flourish and scalloped edges are lovely. Great way to use 12 x 12 papers; I also have too many (what was I thinking!).

Your card is so pretty. Great idea to use up some 12 x 12 stash. I loved this sketch, and didn't get to make a card before the deadline. Always nice to have a belated birthday card in your stash, too.
