It started out NBUS

I'd been saving the Artful Flowers stamp set from SSS to make a card for Darnell's 4th NBUS Challenge.  It's not that I don't have other NBUS stamps/dies to use but I wanted to use this one.  Then came the sketch for the Freshly Made challenge and it worked perfectly with the watercolor flowers I had painted.

I used Inktense pencils to color the flowers and background. The sentiment from Hero Arts is stamped in black and clear embossed on vellum.  The card looks softer and prettier IRL.

I think the pencils qualify my card for the challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More - Make Your Mark.  I'm also sending it to the SSS Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.

    Oh I sooooo know what you mean Bobby! I saved my flower stamp from SC to use at Miss D.'s NBUS, lol! This is gorgeous! Your painting is lovely, and these flowers have such a delicate look. Really pretty. Way to combine the challenges. Bev
