I loved the colorful sketch for the Happy Little Stamper May challenge.
I decided to do a little embossing and watercoloring.
I embossed the entire panel of watercolor paper in white using the MFT Chicken Wire background stamp. Next I ran a wet brush over the top half and dropped in a variety of Distress Inks, letting some mix. I cut it apart to mount it on white cardstock and didn't like it, so I decided to put the rest of the embossed panel on the bottom. I covered the split with my sentiment from MFT. Do you see my "mistake"?

Such a creative design Bobby! Love the mix of watercoloured hexagons. Great save with the banner sentiment ... works perfectly! This is a very cool background stamp. Hmmm ... might need to get myself one of these. :) Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.
So pretty with those hexagons!

Embossing the chicken wire was a great idea! And I love that you filled so many of the hexies with color. Sweet, sweet card, and as far as I can see, there's no mistake here! Love this. Bev
I see a gorgeous card, Bobby! A wonderful take on the sketch!
Another flash of brilliance, Bobby! Your 'selectively' coloured embossed chicken wire is such fun! Love it!
