The challenge at Less is More this week is to use colors on the opposite side of the color wheel. I chose yellow and purple and while my card may not be "clean" it was fairly simple.
I watercolored my background with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. After it dried, I stamped the wildflowers from Technique Tuesday using Distress Markers in Dusty Concord and Brushed Corduroy. Whilst I was trimming down my panel, I accidentally cut off part of the border *grrr* so I had to resort to plan B - mat the panel with purple and put it on a white card.
Thanks for stopping by. Your visits and comments are truly appreciated.

Well done for saving your panel, Bobby, happens to us all! Your stems look lovely in purple against the soft tone of the background.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Hmmm. Where was the mistake? It looks perfectly well designed to me! That is one beautiful stamp, Bobby...

I think your card is fantastic! I'm always partial to cards with a watercolour or masked background and this one is amazing. Beautiful colours and a great stamp!
Nice save, Bobby--love the matting. You were so smart to use those stamps as purple silhouettes, and I love your yellow water colored background.
Calm, serene, gentle ... and so lovely, Bobby ... who would ever have know this needed 'rescuing'?! Anita :)
Your lovely scene reminds me of sunsets and sunrises when we traveled to my grandparents' farm...bright skies, pretty flowers. You've also captured the peace and joy of those surroundings. A most stunning card. Your 'design innovation' to add the purple adds a marvelous touch (and yes, I hear the grrrr...had a few of those myself this weekend *grin*)
