AAA #46 and HLS CAS Challenge
Masking can really make a card great and give it dimension but it's not always easy to do. Cutting little masks and figuring out which image to stamp first takes a little forethought. I practiced on scrap paper before finalizing this card for AAA - Maskerade and Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge - Masking.
The flowers and vase are from W & W's Lola's Bouquet with hand drawn stems. The flowers are colored with Zigs and the vase negative masked and stamped with a small print stamp from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). A little background and shadow, some splatters and a sentiment from PB finish it off.
So glad you stopped by.

You did an excellent job forethinking this lovely design and then executing your card perfectly, Bobby! The shadow and splatters take it over the top!! Hugs, Darnell
Great job of masking Bobby!! Not only masked the flowers, but the vase too ... awesome! It is one of those techniques that takes a little extra time, but is so worth it. Your card is beautiful!! Thanks so much for playing along at Happy Little Stampers. xx
Well done, Bobby!!! LOve those Lola's stamps!

Well done you!! It takes me forever to get it right, and it looks like you've mastered it in no time at all! Love these beautiful red blooms in that gorgeous vase. Fantastic card. This card was most definitely worth all the extra effort it took to create it. Love it. Bev
Gorgeous red flowers, Bobby! You've done a fantastic job of masking to make the perfect bouquet! Thanks for sharing this with us at Happy Little Stampers!
Love how those flowers pop!
Glad I'm not the only one who practises on scrap paper first! Striking card. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
Well, your masking really did make this card great, Bobby ... and your colouring gave it such fabulous dimension! Love how the flowers bend, swan like, round the decorated vase ... it's all just lovely! Hugs, Anita :)
Love it! So vibrant. I really like the spatters--I rarely do them on my cards because I usually spatter the table more than anything else when I try! LOL
