I've been on a Halloween card making streak and to day I have two for three different challenges. First up is for Curtain Call - Going Batty.
I masked the moon and then black embossed the two sizes of bats from W & W's Moonlight. The sky is inked with Distress Inks and I liked the way the moon looked with ink over the edges of the mask so when I removed the mask I did a little more inking. The sentiment from MFT is embossed in white on a scrap of black. I wiped off the static powder before the sentiment was dry which left streaks that I quite liked. This will be my second entry into the Winnie and Walter Moonlight Rerun.
Card number two started out with me inking up a Tim Holtz 'shattered' stencil in black on white just to see if it would look like a spider web. It looked great but then how would I use it. The Challenge to the rescue.
The circle, vampire and sentiment are from MFT and that black embossed spider from W&W. I'm sure there will be more Halloween challenges before the end of October. Can I come up with any new ideas?
I'm so glad you dropped by. You're all 'fang-tastic'.

What a spooky sky! And I love how you created a spider web and that fun sentiment!
I love your Halloween cards, Bobby! The moody sky has lots of atmosphere and the spiderweb is very clever too. You are obviously feeling spooky :)
I cannot believe that you used a stencil to create that awesome background on your card! I thought for sure it was designer paper! It is a really cool and spooky luck! Love your Halloween duo!!! Thank you for joining us at the challenge!
Brilliant, Bobby ... such spooky halloween cards ... love the obscured moon on the first ... and what an amazing spider's web! Hugs, Anita :)
You've sent my infatuation with Halloween near to bursting with these two fabulous cards! The spooky sky on the first is perfect for the bats; the web on the second is wonderfully cool! Keep the Halloween creations coming...they're all awesome!
