The sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch was a doozy this week. What would you do with this?
I'm trying to think more "out-of-the-box" and so no paper cutting for me. I found an image that would work just fine, thank you.
The branch, and the flowers, are from Altenew's Vintage Flowers. I'm still having a difficult time coming up with inks I like for layered flowers so on this one I used a pale pink Zig for the flowers and over stamped them in white to soften the color. I also used a Zig for the leaves. Maybe I should have over stamped them too.
While a lot of Michigan got dumped on yesterday, we here in the middle of the state got a reprieve from any more snow. There has been a lot of crazy weather around the country. I hope all you loyal readers are safe and secure wherever you live.

This caught my eye amongst all the cards. Love your light and lovely touch.
Yuck...hate the cold weather and snow! Love your beautiful card. The delicate leaves are stunning.
That sketch sure was a doozy, wasn't it? When I first saw it, I had to think about it for a few days before something came to me. That being said, I love what you did - your card is a gorgeous CAS OLC piece of art! Gives us all hope that spring is coming - once we get this little thing called winter over (two more months or so, right)? :)
Oh, I love this! What a fabulous take on the sketch!
VERY out-of-the-box! Great thinking.... awesome card!
Fantastic interpretation of the sketch Bobby. Beautiful card! xx
I've been scratching my head about that sketch too, Bobbby, although I finally came up with a card. I love your take on it - so gorgeously clean and crisp. I have to remember the white overstepping technique - I love how it softens the flowers but still gives them some depth.
This is gorgeous Bobby - I sure would like to see you do this!

Ingenuity pays off, Bobby! Gorgeous, sweet, and incredibly clever take on that tricky sketch!

Not much snow here in SE WI, but plenty of cold now. However, it is January, and since I live where I live, I shouldn't complain too much. Your card is really lovely. That's a hard sketch to work with, and you've nailed it down tight. Those branches and flowers are so pretty, and I'll have to remember the white over stamping. Beautiful card. Bev
Oh what a neat take on the challenge Bobby. The branch mimics the zig zag line on the sketch perfectly! So clever!
Great take on the sketch, a definite 'out of the box' design and pretty 'to boot'!
Very clever use of the sketch! Love it!
You've de-doozified (my new word of the day) this sketch, Bobby, with your pretty branch of blossoms and leaves. A soft, delicate sympathy card...Winner, winner in my books!
Hugs~c
Just beautiful Bobby...love your sweet branch.
This sketch was a challenge & you found the perfect image to echo the zig-zag line. Lovely sympathy card :)
Soft, delicate and so lovely, Bobby ... such a clever take on the sketch! Hope you're staying warm! Hugs, Anita :)
