Throwback Thursday #10, Just Us Girls #324 and Freshly Made #217

Stamp Away With Me is having their Throwback Thursday #10 featuring Quilt Cuts 2.  I haven't used mine for a while so I pulled it out and made this:
Now you know I can't let the extra cuts go to waste so I made another quilt and went looking for a challenge.  Freshly Made had just what I was looking for.

This card will go to Just Us Girls and their "Thank You" challenge.

Now that I have made paper quilts I need to get busy on a couple of fabric ones. I have the fabric and need to have the tops ready for the long-arm quilter as soon as possible so they can be bound and ready to give the granddaughters for graduation in June.  Fortunately their brother's quilt is done except for the binding.

I'm glad to get back to cardmaking.  I haven't made anything in 10 days which means my mojo is on a little vacation.  I'll be checking out what you've been doing to inspire me.

Hi there Bobby--so fun to see both of your quilt cards. You have inspired me, as I have that die, and it has not seen any paper or ink in forever. Love both cards you made. Happy New Year!

LOVE both your quilt cards. The first one is beautiful and really pops with the black accents, and the second is so pretty with the soft blue background. Great job! I've been taking a break too and finally made my first card today in about two weeks. It feels good. I was pretty sure it was going to be a bust as my mojo was vacationing, but it came back. Just like riding a bike! :) xx

LOve your paper quilt squares, Bobby ... you surely have a knack for combining papers as well as fabric! We're all on the Mojo vacation, it seems! It's that after Christmas lull, I think ... bring on the Valentines - much luck with the challenges, my friend!

Oh Bobby, these are lovely ... it's fabulous to see your quilts in paper form! They're both so pretty ... I particularly love how the background texture on the second one makes it seem all snuggle-able! Hugs, Anita :)

Your paper quilting is gorgeous, Bobby - looks like Mr. Mojo is doing just fine (although I can relate! Time for Valentines, flowers, butterflies...). Hope you'll be sharing photos of your granddaughters' quilts; I can imagine they're stunning!
Hugs~c (PS. So thrilled you're joining us at TYI!!)

These are gorgeous. I hope you post photos of the 'graduation' quilts too. I always admire those who can quilt, and after seeing these two gorgeous cards, I'll bet your fabric quilts are amazing. And that ef on your second card is so cool! Love the dimension it adds. Awesome cards. Bev

Oh Bobby these are terrific. I have been wanting to try my hand a making a quilt with paper. I do not have a die-cut...so it maybe tricky! You are amazing that you also make quilts too! What a thoughtful gift! So glad you joined us at Just Us Girls this week and Happy New Year too!
