Addicted to CAS #81, Winnie and Walter Floral, and Muse #153

I have a couple of beautiful florals for you today, if I do say so myself.  Up first is a card for Addicted to CAS (cue word Bloom) and Winnie & Walter's Floral challenge.  It's their second birthday and they have a ton of wonderful challenges to celebrate the occasion.
I wanted to try the Distress Ink lifting that Jennifer McGuire showed here and thought this beautiful hydrangea from Addie's Garden would be the perfect flower to use.  Now I must say that troubles abound in finishing the card and I'm so glad the bloom was fussy cut so I didn't have to redo it. Even using my Misti, I had problems stamping the sentiment next to the leaf.  I finally cut the panel down and around the leaf and kept stamping until I got a good impression.  I popped that panel up and added a strip of some previously inked paper to the left side to carry the color over.

Keeping with the floral theme, I made a card for the Muse challenge featuring this card by Tracey  McNeely.
I was inspired by the three varying colored flowers in the lower left corner.
I tried the ink lifting technique again on these Tim Holtz flowers but it didn't work as well on the lighter colors.  The sentiment is from SSS.

I'm so glad you dropped by.

You've definitely mastered the ink-lifting technique; your hydrangea is beautiful, as is the leaf and sentiment. Glad you found a way to pull it all together (I'd have given up in despair!). Your trio of blooms in the second...oh my! Gorgeous!
