CAS(E) This Sketch #170

Interesting sketch this week at CAS(E) This Sketch.  I probably say that every week but they do give you something to think about. I got a new die from Tim Holtz that Judy urged me to buy and I'm glad I did.  It's the focal point of my card.
My slices are a little different configuration from the original but this worked with the die.  I had a watercolor panel in the 'maybe later' drawer that went perfectly behind the die cut.  The stripes are a MFT stamp that I raised on watercolor paper to be the same height as the die cut panel, leaving the plain ones recessed.  The sentiment from SSS fits beautifully along the line.
Thanks for dropping by.  I hope your week is off to a great start.

How differently you have done using the drawer behind the cuts.

Graphic and so cool, Bobby ... the soft background colour behind the die is such a brilliant contrast with the black stripes! Hugs, Anita :)
