Kelly has made a darling double tag for our inspiration at Tag You're It! this time, incorporating what is so luscious this time of year - strawberries.
I focused instead on what I think to be her technique which is watercolor lifting.
I cut the tags with a MFT die, one from DP and one from Mixed Media paper. I stamped the succulents and pot from SSS, masked the pot and covered the entire tag with Lucky Clover Distress Ink. Using a small brush and clean water I wet the leaves and used a paper towel to blot them, lifting off the color. The pot is colored with Zigs. I just realized I forgot to stamp a sentiment but this way I can use it for anything.
How does Kelly's tag inspire you? Will you make strawberries or other fruit? Will you use the colors? Or maybe the technique like I did? If you need more inspiration, head on over to the Tag You're It! blog and see what the rest of the design team have created.
Looking forward to seeing your tag in the gallery.
